EWS: YIIK: Nameless Psychosis

So this is a tough one.

YIIK: A Post-Modern RPG was widely derided at release, and our very own BEAT was a a continual source of said derision. But BEAT is a man of principles, so he decided to give this RPG the ol’ college try. YIIK: A Post-Modern RPG became YIIK: Nameless Psychosis somewhere in there, and maybe this upgraded version is more worthwhile… Unfortunately, it did not completely work out. Sometimes bad things are bad!

So we start in early December with a quick “test” by BEAT, fanboymaster, and Chromes. After confirming everything works, BEAT plays the game “for real” two weeks later. For this playthrough, BEAT is joined by Cassandralyn, Jeanie, Chromes, and yours truly. And, as part of that audience, I can confirm that YIIK is an interesting game… but not necessarily anything I actually want to play. Maybe it was fun to look at! Regardless, we got as far as we could in one night, and then decided to pick it up the next week. BEAT lasted a whole 15 minutes, and then decided to play something else, never returning to YIIK ever again.
